Please note all new customers will be asked to sign and agree a copy of our terms and conditions on their first visit.

MATTING

If your dog is matted I will do my best to save the coat but in some cases I might need to clip the coat off.  This is due to the pain and discomfort your dog is under when his or her coat is heavily matted.  Where possible I will text or call to discuss with you.  If I cannot get in contact with you I will proceed to clip the coat off in the best interests of your dog.  (This policy is in accordance with the DEFRA Welfare Act 2007)

FLEAS

Please ensure your dog is up to date with flea treatments. If your dog is found to have fleas during the course of the groom there will be an additional £5 charge to cover the cost of flea shampooing your dog as well as flea treating the salon.

AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR

I reserve the right to discontinue an appointment if I feel the dog is becoming aggressive in any way or if I feel the dog is too distressed to continue.

PHOTOGRAPHS

I will take before and after photographs of your dog(s) in order to tweak future grooms.  From time to time I may also use these photos on social media for marketing and promotional purposes.  By signing this contract of Terms & Conditions, you are agreeing to allow Bubbles & Sleek to use images of your dog on social media.

LATE FEES

If you are more than 15 minutes late arriving for your dog’s appointment I may not have time to complete the groom and it will count as a missed appointment. Please contact me if you are running late.

If you do not collect your dog at the agreed time a late fee may apply. This is charged at £5 per 30 minutes (from 15 mins late). This is because I work on a 1:1 basis with dogs and crossovers with unfamiliar dogs and owners may be stressful for them; I like to reunite you as soon as I can.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Failure to do this may result in a £10 cancellation fee payable before your next appointment and I will need to take a 50% non-refundable deposit for your next booking.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, please give a minimum of 24hrs notice where possible.

ACCIDENTS

Dogs sometimes jump or move quickly when being groomed and as I’m working with scissors and clippers this could possibly result in injury to your dog. Whilst I will take every effort to ensure this doesn’t happen I cannot be held responsible for any injuries to your dog whilst they are being groomed unless they are as a result of direct negligence on my part.

COMPLAINTS

Prior to the groom, an initial consultation will take place to discuss how you want your dog to be groomed.  In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the groom, please communicate this to me as soon after the groom as possible so that where appropriate it can be rectified.
